A typical Allagash campsite

There are over 80 maintained campsites along the Allagash Wilderness Waterway, like this one located at Big Brook East. Each site is equipped with a stone fire ring, a well-maintained privy and at least one picnic table, complete with an overhead pole for hanging a rain tarp.
