Allagash Falls
For many, forty foot Allagash Falls is the scenic climax of the trip. The falls is 13 miles from the point where the Allagash joins the St. John River near the Maine-New Brunswick border. It is easily portaged on river-right on a well worn path, that starts out as dirt, turns to a path of wooden planks, and ends as dirt.
