NOTICE: A recent review of the photo captions on the Virtual Museum Canada (VMC) website shown above has revealed many errors. The corrections were forwarded to the Labrador Heritage Society in January of 2004 by Rudy Mauro, who helped Dillon Wallace III locate Hubbard's final campsite in 1973 (the two returned in 1977 to place the memorial tablet on the boulder at the site) and Troy M. Gipps, Co-Leader of the 2003 Hubbard Memorial Centennial Expedition. The corrections are being reviewed by the Society and we hope to see them posted on the VMC site shortly. In the meantime, I have attached our photo caption corrections as a PDF document. Click here to view the corrections.
