Putting together an equipment list for a long distance wildernesss canoeing expedition can be a painstaking slow process. But this type of careful planning must be done to ensure that you have packed all that you will need to get from point A to point B safely. But what happens if something breaks? Simply put ... you must fix it.

An expedition repair kit must be thought out as carefully as the gear you have chosen. The tools and spare parts you'll need to repair rips in your tent, dry bags and clothing; patch a damaged canoe; replace faulty stove parts, etc. must be tailor-fit to your specific gear and equipment.
